My Baseline: Goals or... Whatever.

I've been dabbling and updating when I can sneak in time this week. Love the feel of this space, love the simplicity in the platform, love that community backing. Seems like a good place to just return to a space of sharing content in a way that isn't some disgustion perversion where the underlaying cause is to just feed that capitalism machine.

One of the big projects I'll be sharing here is a novel I have been working on for over a decade. I don't even think it's honestly all the special and as I work on it I keep discovering other works that do a lot of what I thought was unique to my story. This is the human experience though. If you can imagine it, likely someone else has. And really, that's ok... I've accepted this facet of the human experience.

Would I love to publish this work? Absolutely. I don't care if it makes money or not. For me, I really just want to see if I can even get through the process and make something anyone else would even enjoy reading.
